A multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer is required to join a friendly team in a Corby based well-established company, working within a fast moving FMCG environment.

The Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the day to day maintenance activities working on a 2’s and 3’s shift (12 hour days and nights) with two week rotation to cover both mechanical and electrical failures.

The Maintenance Engineer Role:

  • The Maintenance Engineer joining this established team will focus on reactive and preventative maintenance within a fast-moving engineering environment
  • Mechanical and Electrical maintenance on a variety of complex high-speed production machinery which include; Extruders, Moulding machines, granulators, chillers, hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Fault-finding on machinery to understand the nature of a breakdown, Electrical or Mechanical and repair as quickly as possible whilst always putting health and safety as top priority.
  • Minimise production downtime through effective work prioritising.

The Successful Maintenance Engineer:

  • The successful Maintenance Engineer can be either Mechanical or Electrically biased and qualified.
  • Demonstrable experience working within a production / manufacturing environment within a maintenance role.
  • Excellent ability to fault find on complex electro-mechanical machinery with a logical approach.

  • Ability to adopt a continuous improvement approach whilst always putting safety first

Salary - £38,500 per annum
