£10.00 per hour

Days 4on 4off 5.30am to 5.30pm

The Company

Bakkavor Desserts is based in Newark, Nottinghamshire and specialises in making chilled desserts such as trifles, eclairs, creamcakes and choux pastries. The site employs over 1,800 people and is one of four factories that are part of the Bakkavor Desserts sector in the UK.

A fantastic opportunity has opened up as Warehouse Operative / Goods In Operative, working primarily within the factory environment and goods in.

The Role;

The Warehouse, Logistics, Despatch and Goods In team are vital to our business. Not everything can be done by machinery and that’s where YOU come in! As our business’ key selling point is handcrafted products it is essential that we have hard working committed people working within our team.

Duties will include;

  • Picking orders
  • Moving stock and products to keep production levels and lines stocked
  • Palleting completed products
  • Using pump trucks
  • Using hand pallet trucks
  • Moving products from factory to despatch


There is a real chance of progression within the business for a self-driven individual or for the people not so ambitious it provides a base and job security for people happy to stay on the line.

Qualifications:
We require all applicants to have a basic understanding of English Literacy and Numeracy
