Post Title: Lecturer / Course Manager in Business & Business & Events

Responsible to: Programme Leader in Business

Purpose of the job: To provide accessible and high-quality learning experiences to meet the needs of the Learners

Due to growth within our Business Department, we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join our specialist teaching team.

You will be responsible for the delivery of learning to Further and Higher Education students and will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new curriculum opportunities as we seek to expand our training provision. Once travel is permitted you can take part in students’ trips in the UK and overseas. You will also have opportunities to engage with national and international businesses and events as well as be able to work and inspire our students in our rural campus. And opportunities for the right person to support learners in organising and hosting events throughout the year, such as Gin Tasting evenings, Christmas Fairs to name a few!

This role would be to join a well-established team within the college, so if you are highly motivated with a “can do” attitude or maybe starting out in your teaching career with a desire to develop yourself even further in a varied role such as this one, then this could be the job for you!

We are looking for 2 individuals with strong up to date industry knowledge and experience in Business and or Business & Events. Ideally you will have some experience of teaching although teacher training, leading to a recognised teaching qualification, will be provided if required.
