Lead Nurse Acute Care

Band 8a £50,965 - £55,016

Plus £1,117 Distant Islands Allowance

Permanent Post

37.5 Hours per Week

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic nurse to provide senior nursing leadership across acute care in NHS Western Isles.

The successful candidate will provide support, advice, clinical and professional leadership for all aspects of nursing care, ensuring local and national objectives are achieved.

You will work in collaboration with a range of clinical and non-clinical staff both internal and external to ensure the delivery of quality, safe and person centered care.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent team working skills, with the ability to work on own initiative with excellent listening and communication skills both verbal and written.

The successful applicant will be required to register with the PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme).
