NHS Grampian Nurseries play a crucial role in the recruitment and retention of key healthcare staff. The service operates 2 nurseries in Aberdeen providing a total of 155 childcare places aged from 6 months to 5 years.

We are pleased to offer applicants the opportunity to join our NHS Grampian Nurseries teams of Woodend Nursery as our Deputy Manager. Successful applicants will work alongside members of the nursery teams to manage and deliver a high standard of childcare within the nursery setting and in addition contribute to the development of the service as part of our nursery team. This post offers an exciting opportunity to develop a career in childcare.

Applicants should have relevant experience of caring for children aged between 6 months - 5 years, within a nursery setting, and an awareness of implementing the Curriculum for Excellence and Pre-Birth to 3 Documentation, development of planning and team leading, as well as meeting the requirements for a Manager in ELC within SSSC expectations. Flexibility between the working hours of 6.30 a.m.-6.00 p.m. is required with availability to work on a full-time flexi basis and as the post requests.

Further experience in line with the job description and person specification is also required.

Starting salary of £33,072 per annum.
