Landscape Operative/Supervisor | Bridgewater | Full Time | £13 per hour with the potential for more for the right candidate

Hill Farm Services provides professional fencing and associative services to the agricultural, domestic, commercial, public and industrial sectors.

This role is initially temporary, with the potential to go permanent.

Are you the right person for us?

  • Full UK Driving Licence would be preferable
  • Ideally knowledge and experience in Garden and Grounds maintenance.
  • To be considered for a team leader role, supervisory experience
  • Able to work from engineering drawings
  • Good understanding of planting schedules
  • Previous experience using machinery/HGV/Tractors/Excavators would be highly beneficial
  • CSCS Card is essential
  • Commercial landscaping experience would be beneficial
  • Hedge, shrub and tree planting and seeding experience essential
  • Hedge cutting experience is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of health & safety and safe site working practices
  • Experience of manual outdoor work
  • Strong communication skills
  • Physically fit

What will your role as a Landscape Operative/Supervisor look like?

  • Completing works within the given timescales and to a high standard.
  • Adherence to safe working practices.
  • Setting out and working from plans
  • Soft landscaping (turfing, planting etc)
  • Organising a team
  • The operation and management of a wide variety of projects to a high standard through completion and beyond
  • Liaising with clients to provide a professional service
  • Managing all staff and subcontractors
