Role: Support Worker

Location: Campania ARBD Care Home, Weston-super-Mare

Hours: 34.5 hours per week, 6.45 a.m. - 07.00 p.m, including alternate weekends

Salary: Starting at £12.00 per hour (+£2 p/h overtime)

THE ROLE

We are recruiting for a committed and passionate Support Worker to work at our ARBD Care Home - Campania, in Weston-super-Mare.

Campania provide specialist support for individuals living with Korsakoff’s syndrome with mental health problems and the effects of Alcohol-Related Brain Damage. Supporting the residents of Campania on an individual basis in line with their personal support plan, you will assist them with all aspects of their life, such as personal care, day-to-day activities and helping them to achieve their goals.

THE RIGHT PERSON

  • Experience working in a similar role is preffered but not essential.
  • Ideally you will hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care, or be willing to work towards this.
  • Must be able to demonstrate your ability to work both as a team member and on own initiative.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a loyalty, flexibility and commitment to the care home.
  • Must be able to carry out any other necessary duties as agreed with Directors/Operations Team
