Overview

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking an Internal Sales Consultant on behalf of one of our clients.

You will support the business growth through a mixture of account management of existing customers to maximise sales and also contacting warm leads and potential new customers.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties And Responsibilities

To manage an allocated portfolio of existing accounts, building relationships and growing their overall sales through cross-selling opportunities.

Speaking to existing customers through inbound enquiries and targeted potential trade customers, you will make contact and actively promote products and services.

You will support structured marketing campaigns, focused on ‘warm’ lead conversion.

Allocating leads and potential sales opportunities to the external sales team to engage with the prospect customers.

To maintain the CRM systems, ensure data and information accuracy, and to provide weekly reports on activities, progress and successes.

Skills

And Qualifications

Previous experience of account management and sales experience is essential.

Specific experience within the construction / trade counter sector is an advantage but not essential.

Fantastic communication and people skills are essential, with the ability to develop rapport with people, and be able to ‘think on your feet’ in order to understand a customer’s needs and tailor the conversation accordingly.

The successful person will also be organised, self-motivated, be comfortable working with KPIs and targets.

Excellent IT And Administration Skills Are Essential.
