We are currently looking to recruit an Intermediary Sales Executive to join our busy Commercial team in York.

The post holder will:

  • Develop and manage relationships with Employee Benefits Consultants and Brokers to promote the Benenden Health corporate proposition and maximise new corporate client opportunities.
  • Internal point of contact for Intermediary inbound enquiries and support requests, ensuring they receive the expected level of service and support.
  • Investigate and resolve all queries and issues raised in relation to the onboarding of Intermediaries, their sales process and the commission payment processes.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that relevant internal company functions give the highest level of service to the Intermediary channel.
  • Initiate and manage sales campaigns to update the Intermediary audience on the proposition and service levels.


Skills and experience required:

  • A proven track record of sales or account management experience with third parties or corporate clients.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to strict deadlines and under pressure.
  • Outstanding relationship building and influencing skills with the ability to confidently build and manage relationships at all levels.
  • Tenacious, resilient and confident.
  • Ability to work efficiently and on own initiative to prioritise own workload.
  • Experience of using CRM system, such as Salesforce

There is a requirement to attend 2 weeks full time training Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, Date TBC. You must be available for the whole training period and have no annual leave during this time.

Salary at or around £29,000 per annum, pro-rata plus discretionary sales related bonus
