12 Hour Shifts - DAYS AND NIGHTS

Industrial Electrician or electrically biased maintenance engineer or technician required for a well established and well renowned recycling facility. They offer great training and development opportunities for ANY electricians with experience working on 3 phase electrics.

The role would suit industrial electricians, electrically biased maintenance engineers or electrical technicians with experience working on 3 phase electrics. Applicants will ideally have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an electrical field and those with 17th/18th Edition wiring regulations will have a considerable advantage.

The role will involve both reactive and pre-planned maintenance on a range of process machinery. You will work both on electrical and mechanical faults. Electrically, you will work on panels, AC/DC motors and 3 phase circuits. Mechanically, you will work on hydraulics and pneumatic systems as well as bearings, conveyors, chains and compressors. Reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will work within teams of 2 through the shift.

  • Diagnosing and rectifying both electrical and Mechanical Faults
  • 12 Hour Shifts. Week 1: Monday to Friday 18:00 to 06:00. Week 2 Tuesday to Thursday 06:00 to 18:00
The Person
  • Will ideally be an industrial electrician/ electrically biased maintenance engineer or electrical technician
  • Must have experience working on 3 phase electrics
  • Will ideally have a 17th/18th Edition qualification or equivalent as a minimum
  • Applicants who have experience in process/production environments will have a considerable advantage
