Monday to Friday DAYS. Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:30 Friday 08:00 to 15:00.

Factory Operative sought within an award-winning manufacturer offering training and development and potential progression opportunities.

This role of Factory Operative will be suited to any individual who has experience within this environment or who has basic DIY skills, who have worked in a similar environment following health and safety regulations. The role with involve heavy lifting. You will be comfortable using hand and power tools. They are looking for someone who can read and understand basic drawings.

The general tasks of the Factory Operative would be to; read drawings, building multiple panel bathroom pods, manual lifting, and positioning of panels for clamping and final mechanical fixing. You will have a basic knowledge of hand and power tools skills and be able to follow health and safety regulations. You will form part of the team, follow the Team Leader’s instructions and following any other reasonable request by the Team Leader or Production Manager.

The company is an award-winning manufacturer producing a high volume of bathroom and utility pods. This is a fantastic opportunity to work a Monday to Friday role within a company who are willing to train and develop the successful individual.

The Production Fitter Role
  • Read and understand drawings
  • Build multiple panel bathroom pods
  • Manual lifting and positioning of panels for clamping and final mechanical fixing
  • Follow Team Leaders and Production Management’s instructions
  • Stick to strict health and safety regulations
The Person
  • Ability to read and understand basic drawings
  • Experience in a similar environment would be a considerable advantage
  • Experience of working with hand and power tools
  • Enthusiastic
  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills
  • All PPE will be provided, and full training will be given to the right candidate
