We’re looking for great people who want to develop their careers with us. The ICT Security Officer is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to join the ICT Infrastructure, Cyber Security and Customer Support team.

Requirements:
Has an in-depth knowledge of at least 5 of the following areas
Firewalls
Intrusion Prevention / Detection technologies
Cyber Security Threat Management
Patch Management
ICT Security Legislation & Governance
Vulnerability Management and reporting
SIEM
Public Services Network
Information Governance
Data Networking
We are looking for a person with experience of working in a large Corporate ICT environment, who enjoys working as part of a team, but is also capable of working on their own. The successful candidate will be based at County Hall, Beverley.
You will have the appropriate experience, qualifications, and technical knowledge for this role to ensure the Council is compliant in all aspects of ICT Security, in respect of its ICT infrastructure, assets and estate.
The role is based on 37 hours per week and you will be required to work outside normal office hours to ensure the Council systems are always fully operational and secure.
