We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced IT Officer to join our ICT Infrastructure & Customer Support Team based at County Hall, Beverley. The primary responsibility will be supporting the Council’s server and storage infrastructure. This includes ongoing monitoring, maintenance and planning to continually improve the council’s server infrastructure. This individual will also be required to support a large Citrix environment and provide third line desktop support to end users.Previous experience of enterprise level ICT Server and storage infrastructure will be required, but additional on the job training will also be provided. It is expected that the successful candidate will have a good knowledge and experience supporting servers, desktop computers and applications. The role also requires a good understanding of ICT Security, and the techniques and tools used to protect against and cyber-attacks and vulnerabilities.

Hours: 37 per week, £21,748 (grade 6) with the potential for work out of normal office hours and weekends when required.
