Job Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Business Partner (HRBP) – International Reward. This role is based within the International Team and is part of the BBC Reward department, who provides expertise on all reward matters across the BBC using internal and external insight to develop a reward philosophy, reward strategy, policies and guidance. This role could be based in London, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Belfast or Cardiff.

The team provides expert advice and analysis to international HR teams and managers across the BBC and are responsible for ensuring successful implementation of BBC reward plans, appropriate governance of reward decisions and monitoring and measurement of reward services and objectives. The role receives general line management and direction from the Senior HRBP - Reward.

Main Responsibilities

As the HRBP for Reward you will use your internal and external insight and understanding of the BBC to develop reward frameworks, policies and tools that enable the BBC to be a world class organisation, an employer of choice and delivering value to the licence fee payer.

You will be the lead on delivery of specific activities, including the approach and employee engagement for all areas of reward, remuneration benchmarking and management pay.

You will partner with Divisional HR to support specific business challenges around International Reward and to provide your specialist expertise and advice to the divisional HR teams on all matters of pay, benefits, grading and job evaluation.

Utilising your data analysis expertise you will support strategic Reward decisions that enable the achievement of our organisational strategy and objectives and balance value for money, market and employee engagement as well as legal compliance.

Are you the right candidate?
  • CIPD qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in International reward
  • Up to date expert knowledge of reward practices and approaches
  • Substantial experience of developing, implementing and communicating total reward approaches
  • You will be comfortable at working with data and drawing insights and conclusions.
