We’re looking for an HR Advisor to join our growing HR team here at Simpson Millar. This will be a home-based position and we can be flexible on your level of experience, however strong ER experience is a must.


Initially we’re offering you a 12 month fixed term contract, covering maternity leave, ideally starting in November 2021. There is however, a chance this will become permanent, based on our ever growing business.


This role would be suitable for an experienced HR Advisor looking to work 5 days a week from home with occasional visits to our Leeds office. Ideally, candidates will be located across the North West or North East which will offer the flexibility to attend the Leeds office for training and for arranged meetings.


For us, strong experience of working in HR is more important than formal qualifications however it would be great to hear from candidates who are either CIPD part qualified or interested in working towards their qualification.


The main purpose of this role is to build a positive employee experience by providing a comprehensive, quality service to our clients. You will be the first point of contact for HR related queries from employees as well as having the opportunity to get involved and drive larger projects.


There is some administration involved but most of your time will be spent working with, supporting, and talking to your internal stakeholders and colleagues, enabling you to build established working relationships.
