This is a full time, work from home role, where you will be expected to attend team meetings and socials in our Manchester office on a monthly basis, therefore candidates based in or around the North West would be most suitable.

Doing what exactly? This team work as a hybrid support function, covering administration support for all our practice areas, so you gain an excellent insight into a range of cases and clients in all fields of law (perfect for a Law Graduate, looking for their big break into the sector). You will be chasing retainers, following up on unsigned documents, critical in moving their case forward. Working in our inhouse IT system, you will assist with setting up leads passed on from the New Business Team, manage a busy mailbox with enquiries which need to be logged and passed on to the relevant fee earner.

What are we looking for? Someone with some experience in an office environment, great if this was in a legal setting, although not essential. Great IT skills, competent in the use of all MS Office applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills as you will be responding to clients via email and over the telephone. You can deal with high volumes of work, proactive in your thinking and with a strong ambition to not only succeed in your role, but to progress your career with Simpson Millar.
