Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly individual to join our Holidays team in the Heart of Cornwall. The role will primarily be based at New Lodge at Trelissick with an opportunity for further cover at the other beautiful cottages looked after by the National Trust in the surrounding area. The successful applicant will be able to work independently and as part of a team, have an eye for detail and great communication skills.

Please note, the preferred change over day at New Lodge is Wednesday but flexibility will be required for short breaks.

The Hours: 240 hours per year.

Pay: £8.91 per hour

Full Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) is provided for all teams and additional extensive measures in place to protect staff.

New Lodge is situated on the periphery of the Trelissick Estate in Feock. With far-reaching views of Trelissick’s countryside and woods from its latticed windows, this cottage is a really lovely place to work. Within this role, there may be the opportunity to cover other National Trust holiday cottages in the North Helford area and others at Trelissick.

What you’ll be doing

On change-over days, you’ll make sure that everything’s clean and prepared for our guests to arrive. This will include making sure the cottage is thoroughly cleaned, well presented and welcoming for our guests. We’d also like you to keep an eye out and report any repairs or odd jobs that need doing along with replacing any broken items from the store supplies.
