Salary:NJC Grade E - £26,357 - £29,439 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)

Working Pattern: This is a permanent position working 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

We are seeking to appoint an HLTA to initially be based in Year 3/4 but who may also be required to cover classes across the school.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate who:

  • Will be enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated to prepare and deliver lessons to individuals, groups and whole classes Has relevant HLTA or equivalent qualifications or the desire to do so
  • Has experience in KS2 (desirable but not essential)
  • Has an interest to work with SEND (desirable but not essential)
  • Will work collaboratively with teaching staff and assist teachers in the whole curriculum planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources
  • Will be expected to show a high degree of initiative and be able to react to given solutions with integrity and compassion
  • Can inspire and motivate children and enable them to be the best that they can be
  • Has the ability to encourage every child to learn, aspire and achieve
  • Has enthusiasm, skill and the desire to make a difference
