We’re looking for a Customer Liaison Officer to provide a key link between tenants, contractors, client and consultants; and to represent customers in all matters relating to the Investment and maintenance Programmes.
Key responsibilities:
Actively seek customers views and promote their participation in consultation processes; This will include attending and, where appropriate, organising, chairing and taking minutes at the meetings;
Assist in the preparation of questionnaires in order to ascertain customers views on proposed programmes and other relevant matters.
Assist in organising surveys and liaise between parties.
Carry out home visits to discuss participation and consultation issues;
Ensure customers are provided with all necessary information and kept up to date on ongoing or upcoming works.
Promote best practice in ‘Safe Guarding’ customers of the Housing Group
Arrange decants where necessary, liaising with all parties to ensure a smooth transition with service connections, photos, removals and storage.
Carry out administrative and clerical tasks associated with the post
Assist in maintaining and developing the computerised database of the WCHG properties
The successful candidates will:
Understanding of effective customer liaison in the context of major improvement and maintenance programmes
Experience of working directly and effectively with social housing customers in the context of large-scale maintenance or Investment programmes
To have an understanding of health & safety regulations and working practices relating to construction sites
Experience of establishing effective working relationships with other officers, outside agencies and resident groups
To have sound organisational and administrative skills including practical use of ICT systems
Please note you will need to be flexible in approach in regard to working hours and willing to work evenings and weekends when required. You must hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle for business use or other practical and efficient means of transportation to all areas within the subsidiary stock locations.
