About the role

We are currently seeking a Planner to join our team. The main purpose of this role is to appoint, monitor and control the workflow of jobs and support the in-house maintenance service, scheduling resources to ensure that customers are given a high-level quality service.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Raising orders on IT systems, planning and dispatching jobs to the best placed operatives or contractors

  • Managing operative diaries, ensuring value for money

  • Dealing with inbound and outbound communications from colleagues, sub contractors and customers

  • Ensuring that follow on appointments are arranged with customers and that they are aware of any amended appointment slots

  • Actioning unscheduled jobs, ensuring that all emergency and overdue repairs are carried out

What we are looking for

Our successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience of working within a scheduling role within trades, construction and / or property services

  • Ability to work under pressure, manage conflict and be resilient.

  • Effective time management skills and excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Commitment to delivering high quality customer services, within a fast-paced working environment

We are offering a hybrid way of working, predominantly home based but with the opportunity to also work from an office environment.
