UK Corporate Tax Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Corporate Tax Managerto join Rolls Royce Reporting team in Derby.

As we look to continue to improve our UK corporate tax compliance, Group reporting and forecasting processes, systems and controls we are creating a new role within Group Taxation to help drive this forward. You will be responsible for delivering an overarching Group strategy for reporting (and other external disclosures) and forecasting to support effective management and delivery of Group requirements.

As a Tax Manager you will be cooperating with other tax leads in various countries, external service and IT solutions providers, Finance, including Group Finance and Group Controller and Group auditors.

Key accountabilities:

  • Support the delivery of the Group’s UK compliance affairs and the relationship with HMRC.
  • Support the delivery of the Group’s external year end and interim reporting and related audit process and interface with the Group auditors.
  • Support the Group’s internal forecasting process and be a contact with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support and advise the businesses and be a contact for UK corporate tax matters.
  • Partner with the businesses and other functions on projects and other initiatives as required.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Professionally qualified Accountant or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of SAP and HFM.
  • Significant attention to detail, strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Strong focus on governance and controls.
  • UK corporate tax, reporting and forecasting experience.
  • Experience of delivering improvement projects.
