About this role

Our portfolio is seeing major change as organisations rapidly reshape to accommodate a distributed workforce and changing business models. They need dynamic solutions that can evolve with them – at speed and at scale.

This role is a brilliant opportunity to come and join one of the most exciting, dynamic teams in Global where you’ll get to shape the key propositions we take to market and work closely with the product team on GTM planning and product launches.

In this role, you’ll lead a team of up to 7 portfolio marketers , working alongside the portfolio, specialist and alliance teams that possess unrivalled knowledge and the expert know-how to design, deliver and manage technology solutions.

This role requires a passion for leadership, collaboration, marketing impact and driving change.

You and your team will own, create and deliver the global portfolio marketing plan. You’ll lead and create a best in class solutions engagement programme, working across marketing and sales to excite and engage new and existing customers to BT products and services.

You’ll take ownership of marketing our roadmap, devise marketing campaigns and requirements, working closely with portfolio and the Head of Delivery & Execution in marketing. You’ll need an excellent understanding of Global’s solutions and the ability to translate complex technical briefs into marketable solutions

This role gives you the incredible opportunity to help drive pan business objectives, serving global multinational organisations around the world with our security, cloud and networking services.


You’ll have the following responsibilities

  • Developing and driving product marketing strategy (including pricing, advertising, product launch)
  • Management and ownership of product marketing plan
  • Following and analysing market trends to position products correctly
  • Driving marketing activity of all products
  • GTM planning
  • Management and marketing of new product launches
  • Ensuring product marketing investments underpin market growth opportunities
  • Communication of the product value to the market
  • Growing external engagements
  • Training sales force in relevant products

You’ll have the following skills & experience

  • 5 years experience in Product Marketing or similar role
  • An understanding and passion for technical products
  • Ability to create and implement product marketing plans
  • Strong expertise and market knowledge within the technology sector
  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • Proven experience managing a large complex budget
  • Ability to interpret and manage robust data
  • Experience proactively monitoring trends to gain insight and shape processes basis
  • Outstanding stakeholder and relationship management with both internal and external customers
  • Strong communication skills effectively at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to work under pressure and execute flawlessly with all internal and external stakeholders.
