Overview:
We’re looking for an Account Manager Team Leader to join our team based in Birmingham. You’ll be responsible for coordinating and handling all aspects of people supervision, with a hardworking and can do attitude, you’re keen to share your knowledge with your team members, mentoring them and developing their skill set.

You take the initiative to lead from the front, motivating your team and promoting best practice across all areas.
Responsibilities:
  • Achieve quality measures set out by the business, coordinate the day-to-day operations and people management of a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
  • Maximise efficiency, maintain high quality standards and achieve important metrics. Driven to achieve results across compliance and financial targets.
  • Complete regular appraisals using real objectives, in line with revenue accountabilities, attitude and our values.
  • Prepare reports reflecting activity and results of the sales effort. Discuss results in detail with senior management and marketing teams to generate new ideas.
  • Manage and improve the team performance, acting as a referral point for technical and system queries.
  • Work in collaboration with other Team Leaders and senior management to ensure we are operating within company policies & procedures and any external regulation
Qualifications:
  • Holding or working towards one of the Chartered Insurance Institute qualifications is desirable.
  • Good knowledge of general insurance products, services, and basic underlying legal principles and practices.
  • Team leader experience gained in a commercial setting is desirable.
  • Good knowledge of customer experience and the ability to tackle any issues that arise.
  • A consistent track record and strong business acumen in a targeted environment.
  • Happy to build and develop effective relationships. Investing in your team and colleagues alike.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and keen people management skills, you’re a confident problem solver with a good level of empathy and engagement.
  • You have the highest degree of ethics and integrity in client focus.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel and Acturis.
  • Eligible to work in the UK
