What you’ll be doing

  • Lead the Data and Analytics team and own the delivery of the end to end finance technology improvement agenda
  • Form the future strategy of finance and data within the business
  • Liaise with Group IT, Finance and other stakeholders to build clear and prioritised roadmaps for delivery
  • Take best practice from around the Group, and where necessary, create a standard best practice that is then rolled out across all relevant areas of finance
  • Build the infrastructure required to roll out standardisation
  • Support the Shared service centre by leading on delivery of standardisation and optimisation initiatives
  • Be a key pillar of the FSSC futurization and optimisation
  • Own the underlying financial systems data and be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of that data
  • Form the bridge between IT and Finance to work collaboratively on scoping and delivering solutions to finance process and systems challenges

What we’re looking for

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
  • Breadth of financial experience
  • Breadth of IT system experience
  • Process standardisation and optimisation
  • Change and Project management working to implementation plans
  • Strong communication skills - finance and non-finance
  • Ability to challenge and support stakeholders to ensure quality outputs
  • Have an understanding of the links between financial data and IT systems to plan and lead change
