You are a driven consulting analyst with a broad and comprehensive experience in digital solutions in the construction environment, combined with understanding of construction project delivery activities and their associated data. You recognise opportunities to apply new technologies and techniques to construction project data and can manage your team to bring new service offerings to fruition that help our clients improve their decision making, improve efficiencies and demonstrate value for money is being achieved.

You will represent AECOM externally, actively engaging with industry and clients to promote our capability, develop growth opportunities and raise our profile as the trusted commercial and strategic advisors. You will manage a Thought Leadership schedule and lead the authoring and research of insightful articles published to the industry, using external sources and developing internal sources to support these.

Internally you provide leadership and mentorship to your team, ensuring their varied commissions and outputs are delivered on time and to a high standard, and engage with AECOM project delivery teams across the business to develop internal data acquisition processes, develop tools that enhance our capability and provide a source of market intelligence to our teams. You will represent the team internally, engaging with PPC discipline leads to take soundings and give briefings on key issues facing the industry in their disciplines, share knowledge and drive adoption of the best practice digital tools and techniques that your team develops.

As part of the cost intelligence leadership you will actively participate in growing and steering the team, engaging with our delivery and digital colleagues in all aspects of business development including developing collateral, proposals and responses to tenders.

Minimum Requirements

To represent AECOM internally and externally as the leading voice in the construction industry and go-to source for delivering accurate and up-to-date market advice on capital projects, maintaining our consistent, current, high value market intelligence outputs and developing the internal data-driven capability that underpins it all. Identify and build new digital products and services in the project, programme and cost management environment through innovative use of emerging tools and technologies.

+ Experience in conducting economic research in the UK construction market, understanding of construction cost input drivers and how they impact market.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Relevant degree in statistical sciences, economics, financial practices or construction/surveying (e.g. quantity surveying)
