The Company

My client is a well-known main contractor who get involved in a range of sectors including residential, commercial and industrial. They carry out both new build and refurbishment projects to the value of £40M.

The Role

The Project Manager must demonstrate their experience having worked on large projects in the new build/design and build sectors, particularly residential and commercial. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for planning, leading and delivering projects on time and on budget. You’ll ensure that projects have a clear scope and deliverables before developing a detailed project plan, seeing it through to a successful conclusion - managing risks, estimating, contracts and issues along the way. It’s essential that you can effectively engage and develop strong working relationships with all of the different project management team members, design team, consultants and sub-contractors liaising with the client and local authorities. It is imperative for this role, that you are able to demonstrate your ability to run high quality projects from inception through to completion.

Qualifications & Experience

Must hold a recognised construction industry qualification or be able to demonstrate by previous site experience and references the required competencies. Be able to Estimate and be commercially aware. CSCS card – manager, SMSTS, First aid.
