Dean Close St John’s are recruiting for a new Head of Art & Design to join our thriving department. As a Head of Department, you will lead the teaching in the prep school and inspire the Pre Prep teachers to deliver an exciting art and design curriculum.
Our goal is to see pupils flourish in all aspects of their education. Your can-do approach will be essential in inspiring the staff, leading by example and setting the bar high. We are not looking for “run-of-the-mill” but an outstanding candidate who will embody the Foundation Values of Love, Courage, and Contribution.
You will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with an eye for detail, whilst being able to see the bigger picture. You will deliver outstanding lessons and instil a love of art and design in all pupils. A passion for growing children into kind, compassionate, outward looking and independent young people will be clear to see.
