A growing Consultancy form based in Cheshire is looking to hire an Interim Finance Manager to cover an initial 6 month period.

The role is required to be in the office 5 days a week.

Reporting to the CFO and managing a team of 5, the Finance Manager will be responsible for:

  • Group accounting
  • Group forecasting and board reporting
  • Group legal entity / structure management
  • Supporting the CFO with all forms of audit engagement
  • Business reporting submissions
  • Supporting overall financial compliance and governance
  • Change and transformation initiatives
  • Contribute to the success of the overall corporate strategy
  • Assist with statutory accounts and year end audit
  • Suggest and implement improvements to existing processes / systems as required
  • Support CFO on preparations for future investment readiness
  • Undertake adhoc and other finance duties as required

The ideal candidate will be an immediately available qualified accountant with prior management experience.

  • Strong financial and business acumen
  • Multi-group structure business experience preferred
  • System orientated with excellent IT skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Previous experience with financial / group accounting is essential
  • Commercial acumen and financial analysis skills
  • Highly organised and methodical
  • Sound decision making
  • Solution-focused, with ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
  • Accurate, with high attention to detail
  • Good relationship builder, yet willing to take personal responsibility for issues
