Role*
Responsible for creating design solutions that have a high visual impact across a variety of media formats and under a multitude of brand guidelines.
With a creative mission as: An in-house creative agency delivering strategic and evolving designs across a multitude of media, making the ordinary, amazing.

Responsibilities*
Key Accountabilities

  • Creative Design Work Deliver a high standard of creative work across both internal stakeholders and external clients, translating concepts into visuals.
  • Analyse and Interpret content from a design brief, into a visual story ensuring relevance to the target market be it internal or external.
  • Take full accountability for all assigned briefs to ensure correct sign off and strong communication throughout the job.
  • Create both digital and print ready materials using Adobe CC Suite and the automated marketing software to provide the right audience, with the right message, at the right time taking full consideration and understanding of how to maximise the customer journey.
  • Past experience creating campaign assets across different channels from; web design and emails to online animations.
  • Always maintain an incredibly high standard of accuracy whilst pushing the boundaries on the creative visuals.
  • Ensure all marketing materials are 100% FCA compliant, taking responsibility for maintaining the knowledge, understanding and application of FCA requirements.
  • Consistently deliver CBS brand guidelines across all creative artwork, being the custodians to deliver and challenge where the brand guidelines are not being adhered to, as well as looking at how the guidelines evolve in collaboration with the CBS Brand Team.

Technology and Organisation

  • Utilise internal You Track workflow software to manage, progress and time track all briefs to ensure all creative work is generated, approved and delivered on time within the agreed process flow.
  • Using content management software to review and update the CBS website, upload new posts and any other aspects to keep the information accurate, relevant and timely.
  • Maintain and develop technical knowledge across all aspects of the role and team, through L&D, research and webinars.
  • Maintain the creative filing structure to a high standard, following naming conventions and versions control practices with every job produced.

Teamwork and Communication

  • Build positive relationships and work collaboratively on projects with stakeholders across the business at all levels ensuring great two communication channels regarding tasks, brief and projects.
  • Collaborative working across the Creative Team, sharing best practice, brainstorming ideas, and making suggestions for future development.
  • Liaise with external suppliers as necessary to deliver a job request, ensuring a customer centricity approach is adopted at all times.

Person Profile & Qualifications*

Essential

  • Educated to A level standard or with an equivalent business qualification.
  • Graphic Design or Creative Digital Qualification

Skills, Knowledge and Attributes*
Essential

  • Strong creative skills with proven track record working in Adobe Creative Cloud, with up to date knowledge of and excellent skills in Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign.
  • Previous experience working in a creative role.
  • High attention to detail, with Strong layout and composition skills.
  • A driven work ethic, taking full ownership of tasks to deliver the very best creative work at all times.
  • Previous experience using brand guidelines.
  • Excellent organisational skills, the ability to work across a number of projects at one time and change priority as requirements change.
  • Flexible and open to change that is akin to a growing business.
  • An interest in developing technologies and design.
  • Prepared to take ownership and see all tasks through to completion.
  • Experience of motion design and animated content, producing instructional videos, branded video content, graphics for the web and social platforms.
  • A strong team player and networker, building relationships of substance internally and externally.
  • Ability to work in line with CBS Core Values of pride, integrity, accountability, continuous improvement and enjoyment.

Desirable
