FIFTH Movement is a leading provider of sports and physical education services to schools throughout the Manchester and Greater Manchester area. FIFTH’s aim is to create an offer which ensures every child engages in regular physical activity and develops existing or new skills during the process. We are currently seeking an experienced Performing Arts Teacher who carries an Enhanced DBS to be able to provide Musical Theatre sessions to our partner schools.

To start there will be one session per week within the Greater Manchester area (M44). The successful applicant must be available between the hours of 3pm - 4.30pm. This is an ideal role for those who are self-employed and looking for additional hours!

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging musical theatre sessions for students aged .
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students can develop their skills and confidence.
• Teach a variety of musical theatre techniques including singing, dancing, and acting.
• Select appropriate repertoire and choreography to suit the abilities and interests of the students.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their performance abilities.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants during sessions.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in teaching musical theatre to children and young people.
• Ideally, previous experience teaching musical theatre in an educational setting.
• Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (essential).
• Reliable and punctual with a professional work ethic.
