The Low Code Governance & Risk and Control Lead will work within the Chief Technology Office (CTO), specifically within the Risk & Control Governance team.

Low Code is an exciting new technology that provides business users with the ability to automate business processes by building workflow applications through pre-built functional modules, using an intuitive graphical user interface. Low Code (e.g. Pega, ServiceNow and UnQork). technology significantly reduces the need for traditional computer programming expertise and a reliance on technical teams, enabling business driven, accelerated delivery of workflow applications.

Responsibilities
  • Working with the Risk and Control Governance lead to establish and manage a firm wide low code risk and control governance program that includes:
    • Supporting development, implementation, communication, and maintenance of a Low Code risk and control governance strategy firm wide
    • Defining the overall program risk and control governance incorporating roles and responsibilities and key activities that need to be performed to enable the hosting of Low Code across operations
    • Managing the execution lifecycle and data attribute requirements for new Low Code solutions in partnership with platform lead(s).
    • Ensuring that firm wide controls and SDLC requirements are incorporated into the Low Code delivery lifecycle
    • Act as a subject matter expert on Low Code execution lifecycle and controls, playing a key role in the implementation of those standards
    • Oversight of Low Code use cases through their execution lifecycle to ensure the business complies with related standards and control requirements as defined by the Low Code program
    • Ownership of Low Code governance-related tools for data quality, issue tracking, and governance reporting
Qualifications:/Core Skills
    • Experience in governance, oversight and/or compliance functions within financial services
    • A proven track record in a governance, delivery and risk management role, ideally in a technology related area
    • Ability to assess the effectiveness of the organization’s plans to deliver effective governance, oversight, and controls and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas
    • Communicator who can collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and senior leaders
    • Delivery experience or a solid understanding of the project lifecycle, supporting documentation and control related requirements
Technical Skills
  • Proven experience with establishing the execution and oversight of IT solutions and project lifecycle controls and governance
  • Experience or knowledge of ’Intelligent Solutions’ technologies (data analytics, data visualization tools, robotic process automation); experience is desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of 3rd party oversight and controls
  • A high level of proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
