These will include Strategy support, Portfolio Management and End of Life Planning for aftermarket Commodities. You will be working closely with key stakeholders such as Pricing, Supply Chain, Inventory Management and Production Purchasing teams. This role will see you have responsibility for multiple Vendors where you will be accountable for supplier relationships through supplier performance management process. This will include portfolio management and the Commercial issue resolution process, taking responsible for supplier partnerships as defined by the supplier Vendor allocation.You will manage the End of Production Life strategy, planning and delivery, whilst leading internal stakeholder relationships across the Customer Service function, working closely with Pricing, Commercial and Supply Chain Management. You will be Identifying cost change opportunities through resourcing, product rationalisation and packaging through an enterprise approach.What You’ll NeedAs a Commodity Buyer, you will Lead stakeholder alignment in relation to Total Cost of Ownership, delivering material and distribution costs to target whilst managing the virtual spend budget to delivery and other cost increases. You shall present to both Purchasing and IM governance reviews with relevant business cases. You will be responsible for End of production Life strategy and planning, ensuring achievement of commercial targets are met, whilst managing multiple stakeholder KPIs recommending the best business case going forward.You shall identify opportunities for creating value in a category, whilst structuring and executing complex analyses, applying purchasing tools. You will translate analytical results into detailed, actionable recommendations to the business, Implementing and delivering purchasing strategies across the affected areas. You shall influence cross-functional engagement that will focus on strategies of total value chain delivery, creating a clear & robust communication plan.Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:Essential:
