Financial Accountant Role (Permanent)Job SummaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join a global services company on a permanent basis at their modern Office based in Runcorn with hybrid working. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the financial, reporting and control activities of the business entities whilst supporting the Inter Company and Fixed Asset accountantsJob Responsibilities
  • Responsibility for monthly Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Monthly Payroll Journal posting
  • Collation, calculation and production of VAT Returns for ALL UK entities
  • Assist with the Load of Month end and Budget information into One Stream
  • Support the Budgeting and Forecasting process
  • Assist with the Year End audit queries
  • Support the Corporation Tax analysis and pack completion
  • Assistance with the preparation and review of the Statutory Accounts
  • Completion of ad hoc Office for National Statistics surveys
  • Support with the delivery of Ad hoc business requests
Qualifications and Competencies
  • Part Qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA)
  • Proven ability to multi task whilst prioritising in accordance with the needs of the Company
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to conduct themselves in a professional manner
  • IT literate MS Office skills and SAP(Preferred)
  • Comfortable working in a challenging environment whilst remaining flexible, proactive, retaining an attention to detail and being efficient and resourceful
  • Demonstrates discretion and maintains confidentiality at all times
