Axon Moore are delighted to be working exclusively with a business based in Skipton who are looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their team on a part time basis.

The role is offered on a temporary to permanent basis. Reporting directly to senior management, the appointed candidate will be responsible for sharing responsibility for some key elements of the finance process.

The role of Part Time Assistant Account requires an experienced candidate who is adept at working in a fairly autonomous capacity.

The role is offered at around 18 hours per week and can be flexible around your personal situation. Responsibilities as the Part Time Assistant Accountant will include: Assisting with monthly management accounts Assisting with accruals & prepayments Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations Assisting with bank reconciliations Assisting with cash flows Assisting with monthly reporting Assisting with the preparation of the payroll Helping purchase ledger, sales ledger, and credit control functions as and when required Adhoc duties To apply for this role candidates must: Be AAT Qualified or equivalent Have experience within a similar role in finance Be able to work autonomously with minimal supervision Be able to navigate through a finance system and possess intermediate Excel skills Be available at short notice
