Robert Half is extremely proud to partner with a very innovate and unique global leader with operations in UK to recruit a ambitious Financial Accountant to work along side a very driven and supportive line manager based in Towcester.

Office based and paying £30,000 to £55,000 plus 6% employer pension (3% employee), 25 days annual leave plus bank hols and 4x Life assurance.

Primary Purpose Of This Position
  • Contributing to the daily, weekly and monthly accounting tasks of the global Finance team
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations in a timely manner and ensuring reconciling items are resolved.
  • Global revenue recognition for weekly review
  • Ownership of tax reporting
  • Ownership of global month end activities including; prepayments, accruals, intercompany, payroll, rent and lease
  • Foreign exchange review and clearing
  • Maintenance of the general ledger to ensure accurate reporting for both the US and UK entity
  • Preparing inter-company journal entries and reconciling balances with all other business units
  • Assist wider finance team in adhoc queries or projects as they arise
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Financial accountant with several year’s experience
  • US reporting experience preferred
  • Self-motivated, autonomous, and proven "do-it yourself" attitude.
  • High energy level with a hands-on approach combined with the ability to provide leadership and structure in a fast paced dynamic environment.
  • Experience with SAP suite a bonus.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and appropriately prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
