We are looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner based within our Head Office in Peterborough to cover a period of maternity leave – the position will be for approx. 16-18 months.

The role

Reporting to the Head of Finance and Business Controlling, the Finance Business Partner will be responsible for the forecasting, reporting and consolidation of the Chronic Care and Distribution capacity costs.

The role will prepare monthly management information including the analytical review of key variances to forecast and will work with forecast owners to prepare rolling end of year projections. Within the role, there will also be a need to provide commercial financial support to the business and add value to the decision making process.

All transactional processes (AP, AR, GL & Expenses) are outsourced to the Coloplast Business Centre in Poland.

Duties And Accountabilities
  • Completes capacity cost projections at a business unit level
  • Collates monthly latest view capacity cost forecast for review with Head of Finance and Business Support Director
  • Prepares and submits quarterly rolling forecasts
  • Inputs into the annual budgeting process for capacity costs
  • Prepares and distributes departmental financial reports
  • Analyses and interprets financial data for trends, variances from forecast/last year versus actual, etc.
  • Acts as a Business Partner and meets with forecast owners for capacity cost follow up and forecast projection
  • Prepares and calculates local accruals
  • Participates in future rollouts for new finance tools/automation
  • Assists in creating and updating KPIs for the finance area and the company as a whole
  • Performs ad hoc and special project analysis as needed.
Experience & Personal Characteristics
  • Professional accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA Qualified) or equivalent experience
  • Good MS Excel skills required, E1 and GLI experience preferred
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines a must
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent Business Partnering Skills
  • Strong communication skills
