The Finance Apprentice will work with the Management Accountants Team and other finance colleagues, to learn the regular activities of the UK and Ireland Finance team. You will work towards a Level 2 Accounts / Finance Assistant apprenticeship standard.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Learn how to assist with Month end management reporting
  • Learn the computation of revenue for VPS UK
  • Learn how to process nominal ledger payments for the business unit
  • Learn computation of CIS returns and payments
  • Learn set up and reconciliation of depreciation
  • Learning how to post banking transactions
  • Learn the posting of corrections for credit control
  • Learn Lombard payment postings
  • Learn and assist with Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Learn how to process and reconcile intercompany transactions with the MA Team
  • Learn how to support Capital Expenditure approvals & Reporting
  • Learn how to analyse transactional data when requested by management
