What To Expect

This role is responsible for defining & delivering the products JLR will sell on the Features over the Air store. The role will involve product, business case & commercial analysis to ensure JLR’s offering is class leading.

The FOTA Product Feature Manager will be responsible for defining the products & services together with the overall pricing strategy for the FOTA programme. The role will also require in-life management of products including performance reporting and management of product improvement plans with Engineering. The individual will work with JLR’s Ecommerce partners and FOTA CX lead to ensure the FOTA products are sold in the best CX and the individual will also liaise with Communications team to develop and define launch plans and ongoing communications strategy.

In your role:
  • Lead the development of the product feature & service roadmap to support MVP and subsequent releases for the FOTA programme
  • Conduct ongoing competitor & Voice of Customer analysis to ensure JLRs’ FOTA plans deliver class leading product and services ensuring alignment with x functional FOTA team
  • Work with finance partner to develop pricing strategy and conduct on-going business case analysis aligning to FOTA roadmap and future opportunities
  • Engage with the vehicle programmes, product & platform strategy, vehicle domains & vehicle line director teams to inform future product strategy and identify future product opportunities arising from FOTA
  • Engage with the Regions to understand customer needs and optimise the product roadmaps and offers to best suit the different customers in respective markets
  • Liaise with Communications team to develop product and service launch plans
  • Work with Ecommerce partners and FOTA CX lead to ensure FOTA products & services are sold in the best CX and that platforms are optimised to ensure maximum returns
  • Ensure customer-centric approach in all deliverables, delivery and communications
  • Work collaboratively with business stakeholders from across the business including Commercial, IT and Engineering aligning assumptions
  • Ensure on time delivery of project deliverables and checkpoints
  • Report on Feature sales, setting KPI targets and renewal rates

What You’ll Need

As the Features Over The Air (FOTA) Product/Feature Manager you’ll need the following knowledge, skills and experience:
  • Digital Products Manager
  • Experience in developing business processes to deliver new products & services
  • Excellent competitive knowledge of Over the Air Products and Services landscape and offering
  • Strong knowledge of consumer insights and able to be the Voice of Customer when interfacing with cross-functional teams outside of Commercial
  • Understanding of Agile methodology and application into Product and Service roadmaps
  • Experience of conducting pricing analysis
  • Experience of developing business cases
  • Customer experience mind-set
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, the ability to communicate and influence delivery of products and services in a x-functional team
  • Proven track record for partner alignment influencing product roadmaps
