Family Solicitor

North East

QED Legal are working with a respected High Street practice who are looking to hire an experienced Family Lawyer to join the firm.

This role is initially a standalone role with the vision to build and grow the department. There is enough work to occupy an experienced Family Solicitor and lots of scope to expand the offering.

The majority of the work is privately funded matrimonial and finances, with some private children work. The firm does hold a legal aid franchise and are still undertaking local authority childcare work and so the ideal candidate should have good experience of carrying a mixed caseload.

The right candidate for this role should have ideally a minimum of 2 years’ post qualification experience.

The firm is small in size but has a relaxed family feel. This really is a great opportunity for those family solicitors perhaps stuck as 3rd/4th in command in a larger team with no real prospects of challenging themselves and building something.

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience + benefits.
