HSDC are seeking an enthusiastic individual to help deliver outstanding apprentice outcomes through the delivery of excellent work-based training. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of engineering apprenticeship programmes, will be experienced, committed and professional. HSDC has an excellent track record in delivering engineering apprenticeship programmes and the successful applicant will use this as a platform to build on.

Salary Grade 6, Spine Point 28 £45,244.40 (Fixed Point)

The role will include all aspects of managing engineering apprenticeships, employer engagement, assessing and teaching as required and the successful applicant will work closely with the cross-college apprenticeship team as well as the engineering curriculum team.

The ideal candidates will possess a working knowledge of the range standards from levels 2 to 4 and a minimum of two years assessment practice with an assessor qualification. A background of teaching across vocational programmes and supporting industrial experience in mechanical manufacturing engineering would be desirable.

We can also support you in gaining your IQA or PTTLS qualifications.

A full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle is a must and this role involves frequent travel across campuses.
