Job Description: We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Nurse Trainer to join our team. The Clinical Nurse Trainer will play a vital role in providing comprehensive training and support to our care staff, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional care to our clients. This role will involve a combination of clinical training, mentorship, and ongoing support to ensure our care staff are equipped to handle complex medical needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients with complex medical needs, including physical, psychological, and social factors, to develop individualised care plans.

2. Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for care staff, covering a wide range of clinical skills and procedures relevant to complex care.

  • Provide hands-on training and demonstrations to care staff, both in a classroom setting and during on-the-job training sessions.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to measure the competency and proficiency of care staff in clinical skills and procedures.
  • Provide ongoing support and mentorship to care staff, addressing any gaps in knowledge or performance through coaching and additional training as needed.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in complex care practices and ensure that training materials and programs are regularly reviewed and updated accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other members of the clinical team to identify training needs and develop strategies for continuous improvement in care delivery.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and point of contact for care staff, providing guidance and assistance in addressing complex medical issues and emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, including attendance, assessments, and feedback, in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the organisation, promoting a supportive and collaborative environment for care staff.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse, holding current UK PIN
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in complex care settings, preferably in home care or community-based care.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering clinical training programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate care staff at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
