Maintenance Engineer (Electrical, DAYS) Chippenham, WiltshireUp to £42,000 DOE + Pension + Life Cover + Dental + Optical + 27+8 days holiday Maintenance Engineer sought for a Chippenham based manufacturer offering huge development and progression. Part of a Global manufacturing brand employing over 17,000 people this role offers vast opportunities to grow through the engineering team.The role will be suited to experienced electrical maintenance engineers from any industrial, process or manufacturing background. You will be competent with both single and 3 phase systems, have the ability to fault find to board level, work with boilers, chillers, pumps, motors, belt drives etc.You will also receive on-site training on bespoke equipment found only within this manufacturing unit. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will form part of a engineering maintenance team operating in a 24/7 manufacturing environment, you will be biased towards PPM but will need to provide fast and effective breakdown response while on shift. The company are a true believer in investing in people, you will receive further tailored training both in terms of engineering and process/lean methodologies including Kaizen and six sigma green belt training.The role in brief:-Dayshift electrically biased maintenance engineer role
  • PPM and reactive breakdown support on shift
  • Project based work where required with new equipment projects and TPM projects
  • Undergo training in engineering and process disciplines as part of personal development within engineering team.
  • The Person:-Experienced maintenance engineer from a manufacturing, process, or industrial background
  • Hold a relevant electrical engineering qualification
  • Work a Monday to Friday dayshift and overtime/on-call on a voluntary basis
