Job Title:E-Commerce Merchandise Planner

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Nuneaton/Remote

Hours: 37.5 hours

We are looking for an experienced Merchandise Planner to report to and work alongside the E-Commerce Merchandise Planning Manager across their categories in the management of stock and sales performance. As a team, we ensure that we have the right product, in the right place, at the right time. We work side by side with our Digital Merchandising team, Supply Chain team as well as our Distribution Centre to ensure we have best fulfilment for online sales.

The purpose of the role is to effectively plan and manage Digital inventory levels across all categories ensuring delivery of sales, availability and stock KPIs.

Responsibilities Will Include

The successful individual will work with colleagues from the wider E-Commerce Team, Supply Chain and Distribution to:
  • Resolve the root causes of out of stocks and continuously improve digital availability
  • Plan and optimise stock levels to ensure stock availability on our website accurately reflects our inventory levels
  • Identify any stock risks (shortages or excess)
  • Ensure Digital availability and fulfilment, and minimise out of stocks
  • Produce Digital forecasts for promotional periods
  • Challenge current ways of working through insightful, action focused analysis and process change
  • Highly numerate, analytical and data driven with good attention to detail
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently manage and analyse large amounts of data across multiple data sets
  • Strong sense of urgency and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team
  • Ability to present data in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and multi-task
  • Confident, open minded and happy to challenge the norm
  • Advanced Microsoft Office especially Excel
  • Power Query experience desirable
  • Knowledge of E-Commerce is an advantage
