Our busy Halesowen Depot are looking for a Driver LGV (C1) to join their successful team to support on deliveries.

You’ll be working 45 hours a week, Monday to Friday from 7am - 5pm with 1 hour for lunch.

Your Main Duties Will Be

About the role

• Driving a 7.5t vehicle and towing
• Delivering approx. 10 - 15 drops per day depending on the drop distance
• Vehicle checks and handheld PDA usage
• Loading and unloading own vehicles
• Picking and packing in warehouse once deliveries complete
• Offloading for customers and providing excellent customer service
• Attending breakdowns and handing new equipment over
  

About You

A full Category C/Class 2 licence is required to ensure you’ve undergone the correct training to operate a 7.5t van and for towing and to carry out appropriate vehicle checks.

You’ll need to be able to fully complete manual tachographs and fully check a vehicle for defects.

Good knowledge of the road laws and ability to abide by them is essential for this role.

We’re looking for someone with experience in towing that is confident and personable and able to work independently and in a team.
