Davies Court operates two services both intermediate care (rehabilitation) and dementia care for up to 60 people. We are looking for experienced, motivated, flexible and enthusiastic staff to join our team.
You will carry out general cleaning duties and contribute to the provision of a comfortable, safe and hygienic environment for service users and other customers at the home.
You will be expected to clean service areas, equipment set up and clean all of the dining areas and set up all cleaning tasks in line with various schedules to meet the needs of service users.
Your duties will include operating relevant machinery and equipment, including visible safety checks to all machinery prior to use. You will ensure health and safety policies are followed in line with systems and procedures set in place to ensure the home is safe and free from hazards.
You will promote and maintain good customer relations to ensure the quality of the cleaning service provided is up to a good standard; communicating and co-operating with customers and reporting to the shift leader and manager all concerns.
You will need to work within a team, it is essential you have good communication skills and you will need to have the ability to use your own initiative.
You will be required to work on a rota system over a 7-day week which includes, weekends and bank holidays.
