We have a fantastic role as the strategy lead responsible for implementing and embedding the DIO Safety Strategy!

Are you someone who could provide meaningful communications to bring about a positive change in safety behaviours and attitudes? We are looking for an experienced individual to support policy development, assurance activities and reporting, as well as promoting the newly established strategy. You will set and drive forward corporate initiatives aligned to the strategy enabling DIO to achieve the business plan objective of full assurance across HS&EP. Working across all areas of DIO to put safety first; this post offers an excellent opportunity to the successful candidate to improve their leadership skills and help drive forward a significant improvement in safety performance.

The strategy lead will be an experienced professional who can work independently as well as part of the team; confident at regularly engaging at senior level and across the organisation providing clear concise recommendations and actions, and passionate about developing strong safety leadership.

This is an exciting time for DIO as we embed Safety Principles across the organisation and move to reset and remove tolerance of unsafe conditions. The implementation of the safety strategy, supported by a strong and robust audit programme are key elements in making a difference to safety within DIO.
