Together, we’re working at the pace of change to improve patient lives with diagnostic tools that address the world’s biggest health challenges.We are looking for a Digital Pathology Sales Specialist to join our team in the North of the UK, to effectively develop the growth of the regional Digital Pathology business, driving revenue and market share gains across the Region. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in the Health Care IT environment and a proven track record in complex, multi-stakeholder sales and will live around the Manchester, Birmingham or Leeds area covering the entire North of the UK down to East Anglia.In this role, you’llOwn and lead the regional activity to win business from new accounts and existing Leica customers.
  • Execute the regional Digital Pathology business strategy – with specific focus on market share capture
  • Partner with Account Manager team to manage at the regional level the Digital Pathology sales opportunities in large and medium size competitive accounts across the full funnel process from lead to implementation
  • Build and deliver Digital Pathology projects that match Customer needs & expectations
  • Partner continuously with the Sales Enablement Manager, Regional Sales & Channel Partner Managers, Distributor Partners and EMEA Digital Pathology & Workflow Team to ensure consistent above-market growth
  • Liaise with Distribution and Customer IT departments to effectively design and implement the Digital Pathology solution
  • Research and develop new opportunities to increase Leica Biosystems market share
  • Support the tender response team on technical application process
  • Able to communicate Vision 24 impact to customers and represent winning characteristics of Leica vs competitors
  • Support value selling and smart pricing models
  • Coordinate the region’s implementation in the field.
  • Applies DBS tools in all areas to maximize results and optimizations
What You’ll Need To Do The Job
  • BA/BSc in Life Science or equivalent field
  • Evidence of strong negotiation, influencing and collaboration skills
  • Extensive understanding of LIS, HIS, PACS and other hospital and laboratory information systems.
  • Relevant experience in biomedical laboratory and desire to work in a sales-oriented environment
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Detail and process oriented.
