An exciting role to join our highly successful Pathology Solutions team, reporting to the Pathology Solutions Manager driving the Pathology Solutions business across the UKI.

This exciting high-profile role will see you act as the lead interface between our customers, and our Third-Party primary partners, to build long term, collaborative, value-based relationships across the Danaher OpCo & Leica Biosystems Portfolio.

Using your experience and expertise in sophisticated sales, the Managed Service environment, and the UK pathology marketplace, you will be integral in the process of Leica Biosystems becoming or remaining Prime contractor of choice. Securing and growing market share for LBS in UKI. You will work on opportunities and implement strategies that will differentiate Leica Biosystems solution offering in this highly competitive environment.

This role is a critical position responsible for generating revenue and market share for LBS products and services from customers in a defined territory of responsibility.

In this role, you’ll:
  • Build executive level relationships in assigned accounts across a range of segments; products and services, procurement, supply chain, and finance
  • Engage, mentor and partner with a range of key internal and external stakeholders to develop customer-led solutions and services that build relationships
  • Drive and negotiate sophisticated business and high value-based Managed Service contracts in partnership with LBS as primary or through Third-Party partners
  • Build value and deliver collaborative long term contracts that support innovation, profitable growth and market expansion
  • Meet and exceed annual sales objectives and value creation for assigned accounts by mobilizing internal stakeholders into action in a strong matrix organization, catalyzing growth and exerting influence across diverse functional units
  • Drive Leica contractual T&C’s to a mutual agreement
  • Coordinate risk assessment activities to identify ‘Go’ / ‘No go’ position
  • Lead Third Party negotiation strategies to ensure bids are financially profitable and competitive and align contractually.
  • Actively keep the broader organization updated and advised: both from a strategic account business planning and progress post-implementation
  • Research, target, identify, and generate new SFDC Funnel opportunities in line with LBS strategic goal.
  • Manage and update SFDC Funnel data
  • Supply information on market share, competitor activities, trends and market developments in the geographic region
  • Participate in exhibitions, customer meetings, and other events to support Leica brands and products
What You’ll Need To Do The Job
  • Experienced, Hardworking, proven dynamic person with prior commercial success within a healthcare setting preferred in a strong matrix environment, particularly at winning large sophisticated complex contracts
  • Commercial service experience working with multiple layers of the organization (from senior-level executives downwards)
  • Deep understanding of key partners and customer dynamics in the healthcare arena
  • Working with integrity and leads by example with compliance
  • Project management experience of large cross-functional teams
  • Build constructive and effective relationships both inside and outside the organization
  • Ability to evaluate customer needs and selectively ‘sell’ solutions
