Job Title: Senior Marketing Executive – Digital Customer Acquisition

Location: Leeds, UK

We’re recruiting a brand-new role for the University of Leeds in their online learning team.
The University of Leeds, a renowned institution, is experiencing substantial growth in its online education portfolio. To support their ambitious development plans, we are assembling a dynamic team to drive the development and delivery of their online learning portfolio. We are seeking a Digital Marketing Executive who will play a pivotal role in developing the customer acquisition process from a content, SEO, social, email and web perspective. In summary, you will lead in planning, design, and implementation of marketing campaigns to support learner recruitment and conversion.

Responsibilities:
    Collaborate with the Head of Marketing (Online Education) and the wider marketing team to develop and implement digital acquisition strategies for online learner recruitment.
    Lead in the planning and execution of integrated campaigns, leveraging optimized content and compelling calls to action to generate leads and maximize conversions.
    Develop and deliver marketing assets across various channels including social media, search, email, and web content.
    Lead content planning for online learner recruitment communications across web, social media, and email, ensuring alignment with the value proposition(s) and evaluating performance against objectives.
    Apply best practice SEO to maximise digital performance
    Monitor and report on campaign and webpage performance, ensuring alignment with key messages and reinforcing the value proposition(s) of online education.
    Manage the maintenance and optimization of online course listings on University-owned sites and external third-party platforms.
    Take budgeting responsibility, including expenditure planning and monthly reconciliation.
Qualifications and Skills:
    Strong digital marketing skills, including campaign optimization, monitoring and evaluating paid advertising campaigns, nurturing tracks, and on-page/off-page SEO, with an understanding of its relationship with content marketing.
    Proven experience in planning, developing, executing, and evaluating integrated marketing campaigns, including working with stakeholders, setting objectives, writing creative briefs, and managing agencies.
    Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, enabling the development of effective working relationships with peers, senior stakeholders, and external partners to deliver complex projects and campaigns on time.
    Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly and effectively convey concepts using various channels for both internal and external audiences.
    Outstanding project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and plan your work as well as the work of others to meet deadlines.
Desirable:
    A relevant Marketing qualification or studying towards a qualification.
    Experience working in a digital acquisition environment.
