Pertemps Scotland Ltd are working with our client in Edinburgh to recruit for a Graphic Designers in the Public Sector on a temporary basis for 3 Months with potential extension.

Due to current circumstances this role will be based remotely.
Day rate: £200 - £250 (Inside IR35)

A graphic designer is a confident and competent designer who is able to develop designs based on evidence of user needs and organisational outcomes. They can be trusted to make good decisions and can recognise when to ask for further guidance and support.

They will lead on the development of design concepts, they should be able to interpret evidence-based research and incorporate this into their work.

Main Duties:

• Design a paper print application form for the Redress Service
• Create innovative graphics content to support campaign key messages and translate complex policy
• Ensuring standards are being met, particularly for accessible and inclusive design.
• Design graphics content for social media channels
• Design professional and concise literature and products
• Communicate design concepts and mock-ups
• Participate in and/or support programme and project assurance activities

• Experience of using industry standard creative and presentation software, including Adobe.
• Demonstrable knowledge of printing techniques and paper stock.
• Proven experience or designing digital and print layouts.
• A design related degree or equivalent industry experience.
